Rates and Studio Policies

The rate for recording time is $50 per hour. Bulk rates are available.

Minimum session length is three hours.

A $150 deposit or credit card number is required to secure a date. Deposit is nonrefundable and is returned by project end. Balance is due at the end of every session. If deposit is not received within 14 days of the booking attempts will be made to schedule another session for the date.

No final product will be released if an outstanding balance exists.

There is a $150 fee for cancellations within two days.

Cancellations within one day are billed for full session.

We take no responsibility for items left on the premises.

Arrival time is your session time. Studio time begins when we start wiring and/or placing microphones, normaly 15-20 minutes after arrival/session time, depening on pre-chat. If you arrive early you are welcome to wait in the lounge. Please call if you are going to be late.

We do not guarantee safe storage of audio files. The client is responsible for providing a portable drive and requesting that audio and session files be transferred to client's drive. If this is not possible the client can purchase blank CDs or DVDs from the studio for backups to be burned. In either case, the client is responsible for the backups' safe keeping and should not leave their backups at the studio.

 
The more you prepare for your session, the lower your bill will be. It's always a good idea to record your songs on your own once or twice. Regardless of the recording quality, hearing yourself back almost always makes you change things a bit. Then you can come into the studio and bang it out. So record your shows or rehearsals, you'll be glad you did.
